Audit & Inspection
Audit a factory before your first order, then inspect before, during and after production. Photo reports in English, typically within 24 hours.

What We Do
Use a single service, or let us run your whole quality cycle from factory audit to loading.
On-site assessment of a factory's production capacity and quality systems before you place your first order, so you know who you're really buying from.
Pre-production, during-production and pre-shipment inspection, with a photo report within 24 hours so you can act fast.
Unit-by-unit inspection, sorting, and blind repackaging under one roof in our own workshop; rejects go back to the factory for rework. Full inspection details →
We track your order through production so language and time-zone gaps don't turn into missed deadlines or surprises at shipment.
We supervise loading to confirm correct quantity, safe stacking, and container condition before the doors are sealed.
For long-term clients. We request samples from your shortlisted factories, check them in our workshop and forward only those that pass. You avoid small payments to unfamiliar factories and the cost of shipping rejects overseas.
Three services answer three different questions. Many buyers combine them: an audit before the first order, sample inspections on regular shipments, and 100% inspection when a lot fails.
| Sample inspection (AQL) | 100% inspection and sorting | Factory audit | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What it tells you | Whether the lot meets your AQL limits, based on a sample | Which units conform, one by one; only conforming units ship | Whether the factory can make your product consistently |
| Where | At the supplier's factory | In MSC's own workshop in Ningbo | At the supplier's factory |
| Price at MSC | $240 per inspector-day | Quoted per unit or per lot | $240 per inspector-day |
| Limits | Defects outside the sample can still ship | Higher cost; goods are brought to the workshop | Does not check a specific lot |
| Choose it when | Regular orders from a supplier with a stable record. For simple products this is usually enough. | A lot failed sampling, a defect would stop your customer's line, or you need blind repackaging | Before a first order or when you change supplier |
How We Price
Audits and sample inspections are billed per inspector-day. Full inspection, sorting and sample management are quoted per job.
Factory audits and AQL-sample inspections (pre-production, during-production, pre-shipment) are billed at this flat day rate, in line with standard industry practice.
The price of full inspection with sorting and blind repackaging depends on the defect rate, the product and the packaging spec. Sample management for long-term accounts is priced per sample run. Both are quoted in writing once we have seen the specs.
